Hendrix: Everything but the Guitar

More time in the archive, this time for Archive on 4 with guitar god and rock legend Jimi Hendrix, who would be turning 80 this month if he hadn't died so tragically young. I was grateful to get to know Jimi's life and work much more closely than I ever had before.

On a surface level, I mainly saw this strutting, sexualised, guitar hero worshipped by rock bros the world over. But in making this I found much more.

In the words of Jimi's little brother Leon, "Jimi was more than a musician... he had this knowledge about stuff". Huge thanks to Jack Howson for execing this so very patiently!
